I've been charged with updating the my work's website. All in all it's a simple job. There is no e commerce side to it at least.

I just hate coding. Hate it. Hate it.

So i used to work with the super awesome cool dude and we are super awesome cool friends. He's in a sketch group called MURDERFIST. Love their shows. They are fucking hilarious!

I've gone to several of their shows but recently i just haven't been free which is a great tradegy I assure you.

Well NO MORE!

They've got a show coming up on the 25th and I am so there for the hilarity and utter AWESOME.

If you no idea about these guys shame on you! Expose Yourself.

names are hard

For the past few days I have been trying to come up with a name for the handmade goods I've been making. I can come up with NOTHING... it's a bit depressing.

Just Great

I love how I make a post saying I'm semi grateful for my job and that it's not that bad then I get yelled at and have a shitty morning to early afternoon the next day.

Just Great.

The Wire

Job security is shit. Even when you're not endangered of being fired your endanger of your company going under. I bitch about my work enough but all in all it isn't ALL bad. Just the kind of bad that I want to sometimes stab people in the face.

Every job has that seedy side that annoys the shit out of you. I get to do some cool things with my work so even though there are a million things I could and want to change about my job I'm really just happy to have one that I can use at least SOME of my college degree in.

It would suck if if my work went out of business.

New Year Stuff

This is the first post of the new year! How exciting.

Here is what I've got going on so far. The new year came without much pomp. I'm not one for standing out in the middle of the night in the freezing cold for something that I can't even see cause I'm to many blocks away. Christmas was spent in Kansas where I got to see two of my best friends! Doug and Steph make my life awesome! I wish we all lived near each other again and could hang out more often. Oh wishful thinking.

And since it is the new year we've got new plans and new resolutions. I'm not that different from everyone else. I'd like to say I want to work out more but I know I'll still be lazy. What I really plan to do is work on my book making and get those side projects off the ground! I need to stick to a name for the whole thing. And I need to get up my etsy page.

Not only that but I want to learn to sew!

Life is full of learning. Sometimes that's unfortunate. Sometimes it's awesome. I just hope I have the free time!

And now it's November

I have no idea where the month went. I know that I did a lot of work but that's about it. This past week was pretty insane. There were two events at work though we were supposed to have three. I'm sad that one got canceled even if it made the week a bit easier.

Halloween over all was alright. I went out with a few friends for a little while and got some free food which is always sweet.

I can't believe it's just a couple of months until the year is over. geez. Where did the year go?

Million Miles

It took me a minute to realize that today was only MONDAY. oh my god, you mean I have a full week ahead of me? *dies* Even so, whhhhhy can't I sleep. I feel tired but awake and I think that is rather unfair.

Brain..would you do me a favor and shut up already. I'd really appreciate it.

On another note: I think I have to  many side projects going on. I have all these things I want to do or am in the process of doing. I feel like by having so many things going at once (side project wise, not even talking about the 8-10 hour regular day shit I do Mon-Fri) nothing really gets done. I have books I want to make. Well, several kinds of books. In no particular order (which might be the problem hah) blank sketch books for purchase, a manga (called Project Wonderland), a novel (titled Ruin), a website maybe to go along with the novel so people can read it online and stuff because I doubt it would ever get picked up by a publisher. Err that's really just three over all things. I was sketching on the train today for the manga, I think I have some alright character designs down. I need to figure out where the actual story is going though. Right now, it is in a very random direction.

I guess I shall go force sleep into my consciousness since it is midnight. If that even works. We'll see.

12 hour work day.  Long one tomorrow I think too. Pass out now.

books, books, books

I found out a couple days ago that the books I make (blank sketch books)can actually be sold through my work. Well, really, I found that the guy that buys for the Indie section saw one I made a friend and thought it was awesome and wants me to make a bunch more to sell in the store.

Wait. So I can make money with an otherwise unmarketable skill? SCORE!

in other news. I really want to play the new online game Aion. For serious. It's pretty.
